Security forces killed at least 31 terrorists in multiple operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Services Public Relations said on Monday.

“On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in Lakki Marwat District. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, fourteen Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell,” ISPR said.

“Another intelligence based operation was conducted in Bannu District and in ensuing fire exchange, seventeen more Khwarij were neutralized by the security forces,” ISPR added.

Following the operations, clearance operations have been launched in the area to apprehend any remaining terrorists.
