At least five soldiers of the Pakistan Army including a captain were martyred in an IED attack in Balochistan’s Kech district on Monday.

A security forces vehicle was targeted with the IED between Dasht and Mand in Kech district.

As a result of the explosion Captain Waqar Kakar, Naik Junaid, Naik Asmat, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad and Sepoy Zahoor were martyred.

Following the incident, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
