Two Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers were killed in a shooting ambush by unidentified gunmen in the Mand area of Kech district, Balochistan, on Friday morning.
According to official sources, the incident occurred in the Koh-e-Pashti Gayab area near Mand. The soldiers, identified as Sepoy Jameel Ahmed and Sepoy Azizullah, were on routine patrol when they were attacked by militants who had laid an ambush. Both soldiers were killed instantly. The attackers also reportedly stole the soldiers’ weapons.
Local sources say that a large contingent of security forces arrived at the scene following the attack and launched a search operation for the perpetrators. However, no arrests have been reported as of the latest information. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
