A police official’s father was killed during a terrorist attack on his home in the Tibi Murad area of Lakki Marwat. The attack, which occurred late at night, is the latest in a series of assaults in the region over the past week.

According to reports, terrorists attacked the home of police officer Tufail. Tufail engaged the attackers in a firefight. During the exchange of fire, his elderly father was fatally shot in the head. The police officer himself survived the attack, forcing the attackers to flee.

In a separate incident in the Najiabad area, within the jurisdiction of Lakki Marwat’s main police station, unidentified individuals opened fire, critically wounding a young man named Tanvir Allah.

He was sitting in front of a shop when the shooting occurred and has been taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating both incidents.
