A blast from an improvised explosive device in Lakki Marwat injured two soldiers from the Pakistan Army on Satruday morning.

The incident occurred in the Abdul Khel area within the limits of Police station Pezo, where personnel from the Army’s 43 Punjab Regiment were carrying out a search operation on foot.

During the course of the operation, an IED exploded causing injuries to two soldiers from the operation party.

The injured soldiers have been shifted to City Hospital. Several other operations are underway in the area.
