Five brothers booked after couple killed in the name of honour

Police have registered a murder case following the killing of a husband and wife in Lakpas. The case has been filed at the Levies Police Station in Wali Khan. Five brothers of the deceased woman have been named as suspects.

The couple, who had a court marriage seven years ago, were reportedly invited to a gathering by the woman’s brothers after a reconciliation. They traveled from Panjgur to Lakpas in a pickup truck.

The killers, allegedly from the Jatoi Baloch tribe, instructed the couple to wait at the Noshki cross. They arrived on two motorcycles and shot the couple dead with TT pistols, leaving their two young children witnesses to the horrific crime. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 AM on Tuesday.

Police are currently conducting operations to apprehend the suspects.
