Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has called on Pakistan’s young professionals to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotic commitment in the discharge of their duties to the nation.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations, he made these remarks during an interaction with probationary officers from the 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) of the Civil Services Academy, held at the Army Auditorium on Thursday.

The engagement formed part of a broader national initiative aimed at fostering institutional harmony and strengthening understanding between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.

As part of their training, the young officers were attached to various Pakistan Army formations, including those deployed in both peacetime and operational settings across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. These attachments enabled the participants to observe first-hand the operational preparedness and strategic outlook of the Army, as well as the broader contributions of the Armed Forces to national resilience and development.

During his address, Field Marshal Munir covered a wide range of subjects, including national security imperatives, internal and external challenges, and the pivotal role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding regional peace and ensuring national stability.

He underscored the significance of inter-institutional cohesion, mutual respect, and a shared national vision as essential components in achieving Pakistan’s strategic and developmental goals. The COAS further highlighted the vital role of a competent, transparent, and service-oriented civil bureaucracy in the effective functioning of the state.

The interaction concluded with a dynamic question-and-answer session, reflecting a spirit of constructive dialogue, shared responsibility, and collective dedication to the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Participants expressed their deep appreciation for the opportunity to engage with senior military leadership and gain meaningful insights into the Army’s strategic priorities and institutional values.
