Khamenei rejects Trump’s call for surrender

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a stern warning against foreign intervention, vowing that Iran will resist any imposed war or peace. In a televised address reported by the Tasnim news agency, Khamenei declared, “This nation will not surrender to anyone in the face of imposition.”

He emphasized Iran’s resolve to stand firm against any externally imposed outcome, be it war or a dictated peace agreement.

Khamenei specifically referenced statements made by US President Donald Trump, asserting that those familiar with Iran’s history understand that threats are unproductive.

He issued a pointed warning to the United States, stating, “And the Americans should know that any US military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable consequences.

Trump had called for an ‘unconditional surrender’ from Iran, adding that the US is choosing not to assassinate the Iranian supreme leader for now.

Meanwhile, CBS has reported that Trump is considering joining the Israeli attack on Iran. US has also moved several military assets to region in recent days.
