A major and highly successful operation was conducted by security forces against terrorists, resulting in the elimination of eight terrorists and the severe injury of five others. This action took place on Friday in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area of Lakki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), based on confidential intelligence.
​According to security sources, the security forces displayed exceptional military skill and speed, which prevented the terrorists from either escaping or mounting any counter-attack.
​The sources further added that a search operation remains underway in the area due to the possibility of more terrorists being present, aiming to completely secure the locality. The security forces are determined to completely eliminate terrorism from the country.
