According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 34 terrorists linked to the India-backed militant group Fitna al-Khawarij were killed during clashes with security forces in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between October 13 and 15, 2025.
In an official statement, ISPR said that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Spin Wam area of North Waziristan after receiving reports about the presence of militants. Following an intense exchange of fire, 18 terrorists were successfully eliminated.
Another intelligence-based operation was carried out in South Waziristan, where 8 more terrorists were killed during a gun battle.
A third encounter occurred in the Bannu district, where security forces neutralized 8 additional militants.
The ISPR further stated that sanitization operations are ongoing in the affected areas to eliminate any remaining militants associated with the India-backed Khawarij group.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing counter-terrorism operations at full pace under the vision of “Azm-e-Istihkam,” as approved by the federal Apex Committee for the National Action Plan. The objective is to eradicate all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
